Porto Santo, often called the "Golden Island", is a true paradise in Portugal. Known for its golden sandy beaches that stretch for 9 km, this island offers an idyllic setting to relax and rejuvenate. In addition to the stunning beaches, Porto Santo boasts a rich history and culture, with historical sites, hiking trails and panoramic views that capture the natural essence of the island. Whether exploring the historic center, diving into the crystal-clear waters or simply enjoying a spectacular sunset, Porto Santo is a destination that enchants everyone.

Casa Vila Inês is a piece of our family history in Porto Santo, where we create unforgettable memories. We bought the property in 1978, but the original house, whose bedroom area already existed, has more than 100 years of history. At the time of purchase, the rest of the property was a cane field with access to the beach, which we eventually closed off, transforming the space into an exclusive refuge for the family.

Since then, five generations of our family have enjoyed unique moments in this house, especially in July, when we all get together for the vacations. Between boat trips, sailing adventures on our Hobie Cat, spearfishing, windsurfing and other activities, Vila Inês has become the stage for experiences that strengthen our bonds. We've also celebrated memorable New Year's Eve celebrations here, as well as birthdays and weddings, creating traditions and special moments that pass through time.

With its architecture that honors the typical houses of Porto Santo, Vila Inês is much more than a place - it's a symbol of our union and a treasure chest of stories that we treasure.

To make sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, we kindly ask you to keep in mind these simple guidelines:

Waste & Recycling:
Please help us care for the environment by separating your waste (plastic, paper, glass, organic) and using the public bins nearby.

Cleaning Service:
We provide a weekly cleaning, including fresh bed linens, towels, and a full house clean. If you need extra cleaning during your stay, just let us know (additional charges will be applied).

Quiet Enjoyment:
Parties and loud gatherings aren’t allowed, but good times and laughter are always welcome. Please also be mindful of quiet hours (11 PM – 8 AM) so everyone can rest well.

Number of Guests:
Only the guests listed in the booking are allowed to stay overnight.

Smoking:
Smoking inside the rooms is not permitted.

Pets:
We love animals and they are always welcome, just let us know in advance if you’re bringing them along.

Take Care of the Home:

Before entering the house, please clean the sand off your feet. This helps us keep the space comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

Energy Use:
Please turn off lights when not in use. It helps us save energy and protect the planet.

Toilets:
Please don’t flush toilet paper or any other items. Use the bin provided next to you instead.

Emergency Contacts:
In case of emergency, dial 112 (European emergency number). For anything else, you can always reach us directly.

Safety First:
Remember to lock doors and windows when leaving. We want you to feel safe and relaxed throughout your stay.

Respect the Neighborhood:
Our neighbors are wonderful, let’s keep it that way by respecting their peace and privacy.
